Kachiside Madue

Cheyenne Araujo is a multifaceted creative born and raised in Blantyre, Malawi with roots in Mauritius and Mozambique. Pulling inspiration from the various interactions she’s had in her day-to-day life and travels around the world, her work narrates the stories of those who continue to impact her perspective on vast aspects of her being.

Her work focuses on portraiture that captures the emotion and intimacy of her interactions. She is intrigued by the characters and personalities that unravel as she captures her muses.  Recently branching into writing, videography and drawing as an avenue to express herself, her goal is to use her craft to share her never ending exploration of the who’s and what’s that make up the communities she’s been able to be a part of.
